This month, we witnessed greatness. Johnny Girroir and Grant Davis claimed the GNCC XC1 and XC2 titles, proving that perseverance and dedication to their dreams pay off.

Johnny Girroir secured the 2024 XC1 championship in GNCC off-road racing after years of relentless effort. He faced incredible challenges, both on and off the bike, but never wavered. Watching his journey, we saw a young athlete who kept his heart open, stayed focused, did the hard work, and chased his dreams.

Grant Davis, battling a separated shoulder, pushed through what could have ended his season. With an unwavering mindset, Grant made GNCC history—twice—by winning the overall 3-hour race from the XC2 starting line while seizing the 2024 XC2 championship.

What sets these two apart, beyond their grit and determination, is their unwavering belief in their dreams. They never gave up. They committed to the belief that they could and would achieve their goals, while doing the work necessary on the bike and on their mindset to achieve it.

Here’s the thing; If you give up on your dreams, your dreams will give up on you.

When you get clear on what you want, that’s only 2-12% of the equation—the conscious mind. The remaining 88% lies in the deep subconscious, the true powerhouse that ultimately decides whether or not you’ll achieve your goals. Just like your craft requires practice, so does your mindset.
