Meet Your Mindset Coach
Denise Hamilton Hatch
Denise Hatch is founder of Power of the Mind, Yoga Sports Performance and creator of the International Mind-Muscle Connection Program. She is a licensed hypnotherapist, and an Anusara certified yoga teacher trainer. For the last 30 years, Denise has worked with professional athletes in motorsports, NFL, MLB, Golf, Soccer, and Tennis, as well as with business executives, creative writers, and artists, all of whom seek optimal alignment and performance in mind and body.
Denise studied finance, nutrition, and exercise physiology at UNC. She earned All-American honors in springboard and tower diving, earned a World Title with her outrigger team in 1988, and ran triathlons. She left the corporate world of finance 25 years ago to continue her studies in Mind-Set, Nutrition, Human Behavior, Philosophy, Yoga, and Physiology
Denise helps her clients by employing her teachings and knowledge of mind and physiology to remove psychological and energetic blocks, providing a clear pathway to success and deep joy. Her mission is to align her clients to their full brilliance, so they can put it to work to create their success.

Steve Hatch
Steve Hatch has become a premier off-road dirt bike coach, recognized worldwide for his ability to build champions. As a former Factory Suzuki and Kawasaki off-road rider for 18 years, Steve has experienced the highest level of success! He has also worked hard while racing professionally to achieve his Bachelor of Science degree in Business, Economics and Management Science.
Steve has had the privilege to work with and develop some of the best dirtbike racers in the world, including Ryan Sipes, Kailub Russell, Taylor Robert, Ben Kelley, Josh Toth, and many more.
Steve was the 1994 National Enduro Champion, won over 50 national races (GNCC, Enduro, WORCS, ISDE, Harescrambles), was a two-time Amateur Athlete of the Year, competed in 12 different countries, raced in 45 of the 50 states, earned 6 ISDE gold medalist on the Junior or World Trophy Teams, and was top American at the ISDE.
Steve pushes to help his riders make educated decisions and empowers them on a daily basis.

The guidance of a mindset coach can help you manage stress, expand your awareness, and recognize when you revert to old patterns and behaviors. By identifying and shifting the triggers, beliefs, and behaviors that hinder your success, a mindset coach can support you in achieving your goals in sports, business, and life. Mindset coaching involves working with a qualified professional who guides you to greater awareness of your thoughts, beliefs, and behaviors. This coach helps you manage stress, sharpen mental focus, and develop the skills and tools needed to become the best version of yourself, whether your goals are in sports, health and weight loss, personal, or business.
Mindset coaching is a fundamental aspect of your growth. While you may experience some immediate benefits, it’s not a quick fix. To shift deeper beliefs and behaviors that don’t serve your success or align with your greater goals, it can take three or more months to repattern those unconscious patterns that sabotage your progress. For this reason, we recommend a minimum commitment of three months. Many of our clients continue for a year or more, often returning for follow-up sessions due to the significant success they experience.
Our sessions are held once a week for 30 minutes to an hour. Between sessions, you’ll practice tools and skills such as breathing techniques, guided hypnosis to shift deep subconscious programming, and mind-body awareness exercises. These practices help to build clarity and reinforce positive changes, supporting your ongoing growth and success.

Mindset coaching is not psychotherapy, but discussing how you feel about certain topics is entirely up to you. Each session includes practices designed to help you become your most authentic, present, and powerful self.
What we know of human potential is that we scratch the surface of what’s possible. Neuroscience is revealing and confirming that humans have the capacity to heal, create, accomplish, win and thrive.
The key is expanded awareness, clear intention and focus, and then to get your mind working for you, rather than against you to magnetize your dreams and goals.
This process involves identifying your limitations and adopting new pathways to mastery. The challenge is that 90% of what limits you can go unrecognized because these patterns are so familiar and subconscious. What you can see, you can change! It is the job of a mindset coach to help you to see and shift what limits you so that you become the best version of yourself.
Begin with becoming mindful, which involves directing one’s attention to internal experiences, such as body sensations and breathing. This practice can change brain function, including how it idles in the resting state, responds to stimuli, and balances the right and left hemispheres, ultimately affecting mood and well-being.
Not only does mindfulness alter brain function, it also changes brain structure. It influences the electrochemical and magnetic activity, increases cortical thickness, enhancing the density of neuronal connections, promotes neurogenesis (the birth of new neurons), and encourages receptogenesis (the proliferation of receptors).
Scientists are discovering that our subjective experiences are deeply interconnected with brain activity. Not only does the brain give rise to our experiences, but our experiences also affect the brain. This reciprocal relationship means that what we think, our self-talk, where we direct our attention, and our intentions all have physiological effects on the body, illustrating the profound connection between our physical and internal worlds.
ALL THIS MEANS IS we promote greater states of mindfulness and presence. Most high achievers have some form of ADD or ADHD, and continue to develop that through their sport or fast paced life. Balanced with engaging the parasympathetic nervous system, increased focus attention, clarity of goals and what blocks you and a BIG tool bag of mindset tools that will assist you to thrive your entire life.
